Jupiter

Managed to get the scope out last night 03/03/05, very clear, calm, moonless night:-) I even found Polaris & got the scope aligned up too.  I was not going to bother taking photographs, instead I just concentrated on setting up the scope properly and learning the constellations.

That was until Jupiter popped in to view just above my house, I had to get the camera out after looking at it with my Kelner 28mm 2" eyepiece & the super 10mm(not very super in my opinion). I really like this Kelner eyepiece the views through it are really very clear, bright and sharp.

I got a few pictures of Jupiter but they could have been  better if A) I had set the correct ISO setting & B) had a better eye piece than the super 10mm.

Never mind I will try again for better images next clear night:-)...I should have a new eyepiece by then and I'm also considering buying the MAXVIEW DSLR to enable me to use 2" eyepieces for imaging.
